Andrew is co-founder and owner of West Coast Optical. He is a licensed refracting optician and contact lens fitter with 34 years of experience in the optical industry. Andrew has an expansive knowledge of progressive lens brands, types, and designs. He also enjoys successfully fitting multifocal contact lenses. On top of this, he’s also a lab technician specializing in custom wrap-around sunglasses and all custom high prescription eyeglasses.

Dr. Hundle grew up in the small town of Prince George, BC before relocating to the Lower Mainland. He attended Simon Fraser University obtaining his B.Sc. in Biomedical Physiology and Kinesiology, and then went on to complete the Doctor of Optometry program at the New England College of Optometry in Boston. He looks forward to helping his patients to the best of his ability.

Dr. Hundle has received training by working at various Community Health Centers, VA Hospitals, and Boston Medical Center. During his free time he enjoys playing basketball, ice hockey and hiking around Vancouver. His future plans include traveling to Switzerland, Japan, and parts of Europe.

Dr. Sidhu was raised in North Delta, British Columbia. He completed his undergraduate studies at Simon Fraser University in Biology, graduating First Class with Distinction. He went on to complete his Doctor of Optometry at Pacific University in Oregon, graduating with Distinction.

Dr. Sidhu is passionate about improving health and wellness in his community and has vast clinical experience at various medical centers in both Canada and the United States
concentrating in pediatrics, ocular disease, and family eyecare.

Dr. Sidhu has a particular interest in ocular disease treatment and management including glaucoma, macular degeneration, and diabetic retinopathy.

In his free time, Dr. Sidhu enjoys spending time with his friends and family and staying active competing in various sports such as soccer and hockey.

Born and raised in Ontario, Dr. Marie Sarabusky completed her Honours Bachelor of Science in Microbiology and Immunology at Western University. She went on to pursue graduate studies at Western University where she completed a Master of Science in Microbiology and Immunology. Drawn to the field of optometry because of her mother’s personal experience with vision loss,

Dr. Sarabusky then went on to complete her Doctor of Optometry at the University of Waterloo graduating with distinction. One of the highlights of her time as a student was travelling to Haiti to provide eye care to over 1300 patients in need. Dr. Sarabusky is excited to provide eye care to patients of all ages. She has a special interest in ocular disease and surgical co-management, gaining much of her knowledge working alongside some of the top ophthalmologists in Southwestern Ontario. She loves to maintain diversity in her clinical practice and additionally manages emergency care and pediatrics.

When she is not in the office, you can find Dr. Sarabusky exploring her new home of British Columbia where she is always looking for a new hiking spot to tackle.

Sandi is a licensed refracting optician and contact lens fitter with 44 years of experience in the optical industry. Sandi has been at West Coast Optical for 22 years and has worked in optical retail and optometry practices, which gives her insight into medical and direct payment billing. Her extensive experience has provided her with a vast knowledge of all lenses and contact lenses.

Stephanie is a licensed optician and contact lens fitter and has been part of the team for nine years. She graduated in 2012 with honours from the Douglas College Dispensing Optician Program and has been with the West Coast Optical family ever since. Her knowledge of contact lenses and eyeglass lenses is excellent, and she also works as a lab technician.

Colleen has been in the optical industry for over 25 years. She currently spends most of her time teaching figure skating. Still, she remains part of the West Coast Optical family working on bookkeeping and inventory control.
